About Us

Our Story: “Lest You Forget”
In 1912, Russell Campbell homesteaded near Grimshaw, Alberta, in an area first opened in 1900. The Campbell family has been making their mark ever since.
Years ago, Brian’s cousin uncovered the family motto: “Lest you forget.” It was the perfect fit for Campbell Land. Once you step onto our farm, you’ll never forget your time here.
Our logo—the Celtic knot—symbolizes how we come together as a team and form a strong chain. Together, we accomplish whatever we set our minds and hearts to.
Our motto: Work Hard, Play Hard.
Our promise: Everyone is welcome. You will never forget your time here.

Meet the Campbell Land Family

Farmer and Owner
Brian Campbell
Brian learned farming from his father, Marvin Campbell, and has been working the land with his wife Michelle since the mid-1980s. A heavy-duty mechanic by trade, Brian built Campbell Land into what it is today. He’s a proud father of three and grandfather of four. When he’s not farming, you’ll find him watching hockey, baseball, or out on the boat.

Farm Manager and Host
Michelle Campbell
Michelle is the heart of Campbell Land. Since 2011, she’s hosted over 100 international students and volunteers, creating a welcoming, immersive experience in Canadian farm life. Her teaching philosophy: learn by doing, ask questions, and grow through real work.

Farm Coach
Brett Campbell
Brett grew up on Campbell Land and now runs his own farm, Campbell Rock Farms, with his partner Amber. He brings passion, discipline, and motivation to every intern. A Spartan racer and hockey lover, Brett pushes you to discover what you’re capable of.

Assitant Coach
Amber Davies
Amber grew up on a local farm and brings deep agricultural knowledge to Campbell Land. A 911 operator by profession, she’s also a dedicated dog parent to Mika and plays a key role in day-to-day farm operations.
